Terms of Use (TOU) for Mabini Community Forum

By accessing the Mabini-Pangasinan.gov.ph (MPGP) Community Forum, you agree to be bound by the following terms. If you do not agree to be bound by all of the following terms then please do not access and/or use the Forum. The Forum administrator and management team may change these at any time. The Forum administrator will announce changes to the terms of service agreement through special announcements. It is not required but it is recommended to review this regularly yourself as your continued usage of the Forum means you agree to be bound by these terms as they are updated and/or amended.

You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-orientated or any other material that may would be deemed offensive. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned, with notification of your Internet Service Provider, if deemed necessary, by us. The IP addresses of all posts are recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. The Forum administrator and management team have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should we see fit. As a user you agree to any information you have entered to being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent, neither the Forum shall be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.

The MPGP forum is a moderated public forum dedicated to serving the interests of the caving community. It is not the responsibility of the LGU-Mabini or the forum management team to confirm the validity of information posted. Messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of the LGU-Mabini.

You shall not use the web site for any illegal purpose. You will use it in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You agree not to use the web site in a way that may cause the web site to be interrupted, damaged, rendered less efficient or such that the effectiveness or functionality of the web site is in any way impaired.

All copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights related to the operation, format, visual elements, and management of the Forum and shall remain at all times vested in the Forum. Permission to use any of these elements must be obtained from the Forum administrator.

The content of each post is the property of the author, and may not be copied or distributed without express permission from the author.

You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages, and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the LGU-Mabini, its employees, and the Forum administrators and moderators with respect to any claim based upon transmission of your message(s) or the content of any message posted to the forum.

By posting any material, you confirm, represent and warrant that you have the lawful right to distribute and reproduce such material.

Warnings will remain active on a user’s account for a period of 120 days. If a user accrues 3 warnings the user will be banned for a period of 6 months.

You will not impersonate any person or entity or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.

You agree not to repeatedly post the same or similar message ("flooding") or post excessively large or inappropriate images. Any user that violates this rule will be issued a warning.

Postings to the Forum become public information. You should be very careful about posting personally identifiable information such as your name, address, telephone number or email address. If you post personal information online, you may receive unsolicited messages from other users in return.

The Forum is not the place for arguments over local, state, or national politics or politicians, discussions on religious beliefs and their credibility, or explicitly sexual posts of any type. Any posts the moderators decide violate this rule will be immediately removed and the author will be issued a warning.

Any posts containing non-caving related goods for sale (spam) will be immediately removed and the user will be permanently banned.

User signatures are subject to the same rules as general forum posts.

No user shall create multiple Forum member accounts. Any user who violates this rule will have their newest account deleted and will be issued a warning.

The Forum management team reserves the right to alter these rules at any time without notice.

The Forum management team is responsible for enforcing these Terms of Service in a fair and just manner. Decisions by the moderators on the suitability of any post, and on the actions taken as a result, will be final.
