“If by chance to take a leap for a single step is for a cause, step again, for history marks its own story to tell.” Simply, this cliché speaks for a better purpose because the incorporation of every single idea that ushers among the working group opens another door to every generous hand – to extend not only a help nor a token to take, but a graceful manner of realization, that the first day of school in every child’s promising smile is surely sharing a remarkably inspiring start – a beautiful perception of learning with the sincerest motivation. The Mabini 2010 Backpack Project has never been strange to anybody. Great minds already pursued for this years back. The new set of coordinators re–live only the legacy, for the project has served more than its objective. The purpose is not just to lend a hand, but a continuous reminder to the parents, the teachers and these children that every new set of learning kits mirrors an encouragement to pursue education with dedication and perseverance. This is to establish an attitude that each day of studying is always a new beginning with excitement, passion and greater efforts of valuing. Isn’t it very panoramic and flattering to see a 7-year old pupil flashes with confidence and happiness while tagging along with him/her the backpack of inspiration? The joy and that restless adrenalin of self–affirming motivation will always mark a very good beginning. Having all incoming grade 1 pupils in the entire locality benefited from this venture will be a worth–framing picture that every teacher must-see. “Be one with us…,” is the simplest line of invitation. Why everyone should? Because the slightest gesture of approval and confirmation you’ll make surely touches more than the little of hearts.
